why did torrentspy banned america ?!A us district court decided that they(torrentspy)were responsible for enforcing anti-piracy law because they had their user's ip's in active memory. It would be damn near impossible to root out anything, if you remember how long BREIN were tearing up TPB's servers. The users were never really in danger, however Torrentspy could have been looking at either a court-order which they couldn't possibly comply with(to turn over the ips of copyright violators), or being sued into nonexistence. It was a bad decision and it wouldn't have held, the Federal Attorney took advantage of the sometimes confusing nature of computer memory, and used it to screw with the judge. Anyhow, public sucks.
