proxy question
I've been banned from a torrentsite, and tried to register a second time, but that got disabled to. So i think my ip has been banned. Now i was wondering if a proxy is all i need to make them think i am someone else, i was thinking of a cookie that can reveal my identity or something? Also, do cookies still work when using a proxy? because they must be enabled to register on most torrentsites. Anything that can give me more insight in this is much appreciated.

Do you have a static IP or a dynamic IP? If you have a static IP then it is possible that it is banned and you can't access the site with that IP anymore. But if you have a dynamic IP and you got disabled again it's because you left traces of your previous account, so if you want to register again on a tracker where you have already been banned you should delete all your internet history, cookies, temporary internet files, then change your IP and register, I think oink will catch you even if you do all this but use the same browser, so changing your browser is also an option. And yes you have proxies to enter with another ip, but there are some trackers which don't allow using proxies.

I have dynamic ip, but if i release i always get same ip again from isp, i have mailed them about this, but they didnt answer yet. Thx for the info, im thinking of using vmware player or something so i surely wont have any files that could identify me + a proxy or when i get new ip thx for the info!

in dosbox, first plug networkcard in modem (no router), then use command: ipconfig /release

try doing this in command line: ipconfig /flushdns then: ipconfig /release then unplug all cables from your modem and after a few minutes: ipconfig /renew If you don't get a new ip after this there are other ways to get a new ip, never tried them though but heard about it.

i managed to get it :), just did it again, and unplugged modem a little longer. Thank you for your help though. I was able to use the chat function on the torrentsite without them detecting me, so i just need a 3rd invite now hehe. i used up an invite to bitmetv to get the last one, im out of trading material, so it will take some time...

Sometimes it's just needed a little more time disconnected to allow the isp to give the ip to someone else (who is now banned from that site...if he uses it :P) About the invites i will not be able to help you, but which site are you looking for an invite?

oink, lol, i got banned within 12h. They got some good detection, i used nrpg in more than a dozen other trackers and never got busted for a long time now: so i think i know a little about not standing out, but clearly i don't fully do

Well, oink has probably the best detection system of all and there are many post telling NOT to cheat there because you'll surely get busted, and you as many others were.

They will also ban you for signing up with a proxy. ;) The only solution is to get a new IP from your ISP, clear all your cookies and cache and stuff (I would use a different browser as well), and sign up using different personal data (different username, password, email...). That should do it :) Also, please post in the correct forum next time. I have moved your thread to the correct forum and let you off the line, but next time it happens you will get an official warning.

I have been Banned also from Oink , did any one discover a way to cheat Oink ?

No ones no. its imposible to cheat there I got banned 2 times. i wont cheat there anymore
