Port Forwarding
As you all should know by now that when you are downloading torrents if you have a router you should enable port forwarding to get much better speeds. There is a website callled portforward.com and has lots of simple tutorials for many routers.

thanks man what port do u use? It's probably best not to mention what ports you use as site admins/mods are sure to be reading this and it is easy for them to search for users that use those ports.;) However I will say this: Always use ports >6000, and It is ultimately best to use 50000 - 60000.8)

I heard ports lower than 1024 is good too. I use port 1720 cause of my Rogers cable isp.

Its very important to port forward otherwise u'll not be able to maximize on your DL/UL. Tip: always limit your upload(1-5kbs lower than the Max ul). This is very important as u have to send received receipt about the piece downloaded,if u have ULding max then there'll be a delay in the receipt and the download 'll suffer from that..

A silly question. Do we need PortForwarding if we are directly connected to the internet?
