Nrpg Ratiomaster not working on Vista x64 Hi,
I've been using Nrpg RM on Vista x32 for a while now without any problems,
but I have recently upgraded to 4gb of memory - so I have had to install Vista x64,
Now Nrpg RM won't work properly.
It's a clean install with only a couple of apps on.
I start uTorrent 1.6 as usual, wait for a torrent to starting working, then start Nrpg RM (which loads fine).
It finds the uTorrent process,
But the next line says
"Search failed.Make sure that torrent client (uTorrent 1.6) is running and that at least one torrent is working".
I've also tried uTorent 1.7.7 as well with no luck.
Are there any issues with Vista x64? and is there a fix or workaround available?
Thx

You most likely have Vista SP1 installed. I have Vista x64 with SP1 and it works fine, with the exception of that exact same problem.

Just checked, and your right, I have Sp1 Installed..
I did actually see that thread, but I was'nt too sure if it applied to Vista x64.
Will There be any fixes for this issue?
I found an updated RatioMaster 1.7.5 (moofdev) that works fine (It reads the memory correctly in Sp1),
But i don't know the app, Does anyone have any experience of it (i.e is it good as Nrpg RM - which so far I have only found to be detected on one site)
Will it be a suitable alternative until Nrpg Rm is fixed?
Thx

Here's another thread on the issue:

It should be an easy fix but maybe the developer of NRPG RM isn't aware of this issue yet. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, there have been many posts about it and probably more to come as people update their Vista to SP1.

Well as a workaround run the other ratimaster I mentioned and use its memory reader function to gather the info that's needed and just cut 'n' paste it into nrpg.
Which is just as well 'cos the other RM sucks! - i much prefer Nrpg and look forward to when its fixed.
