I've noticed a lot of people here using the same username as they use on various private trackers. I just thought I'd point out how dumb that is, considering any admin on those trackers can catch on. In fact, trackers are doing this now, so just because you haven't gotten caught yet (for those of you who were banned, this could be why), does'nt mean you won't. The one thing working for you people is that there is a vast user base on this forum. But if you do a search on a private tracker name, and just look at who posts, then look at a user list on a tracker, you can find a LOT of people that way...

sometime ago admin actually gave every1 a chance to change their usernames here because of the same reason...

Yeah, it's just crazy to have the same nick here :-/ If you are one of those, send a PM to Mega or St0n3d and ask them to change your username ;)

it is dumb to use the same user name as on your tracker! i dont see a reason to do that!

But what if i use directly (or not directly) some famous username here, like: Zlo, Kimi, Feeling, djGrrr who are admins. Will they banned from the tracker? Or in reverse, i see here example St0n3d, Mega. If i register the same nick on a private tracker they got banned? Imho, same name is not 100% the same person. Yes, that's true. I don't think those users you were talking about would be banned, but I do think you could frame users (that aren't staff of course) if you wanted to. Just register their username here, make some posts that show you are cheating, and they might just get banned from their torrent sites! Although I am admitting it may be possible, I am certainly not condoning it.

Lool, that would be funny if one of the admins were trying to get us banned :P I use two different nicks (my main one0 and then this one, both on this site and trackers (ones that aren't THAT good)
